Swimming Lessons

We started CJ's swimming lessons today. I am so glad that Payton is in her class or I think that she would have just been attached to my leg the whole time. CJ would not get never the water until Payton would do something. As soon as he would try something or go to the instructor then she would, but not until he did if first. CJ only has 3 other kids in her class and the are all boys. Two of the boys have had swim lessons before (Payton is one of the two), they are not to afraid to get in the water or do the activities that the teacher wants. CJ and one other boy are very afraid of the water. CJ will fight getting in until she sees Payton do it, but otherwise she is holding on to me for dear life. The other boy in class was even more afraid then CJ. He would scream every time he got in the water. I was glad that she did not do that. She told be that she liked swim lessons. So for all the trauma at least she is not to scared to not want to go back. I am hoping that Swimming lessons will make her less afraid for the water in general, so that maybe even bath time will not be some much of a fight to get her in the tub any more.
