Party

Today we had CJ's 4th birthday party. I got up early and put all of the finishing touches on the cake, picked up the balloons, and picked up the house. Everything thing went great. CJ wanted to dress up like a princess at first. After about half way through the party she had to change her clothes. I think that it is because her friends from school that came were not dressed up, but they were all boys. We only had 5 kids that came out of the 15 that were invited, but it was OK. I think that I liked only having 5. I was busy enough with just that many kids painting. We made crowns that I had pre-cut. The boys really liked putting fathers on the crowns. They also put lots of sticks on them. They all looked so great. We then painted ceramic picture frames. As I had put down 2 paper table clothes, so after painting I just wrapped up the first table cloth and had the second one still down for the lunch. When I was doing that the kids all went to CJ's playroom to play. Pizza for lunch. CJ wanted a castle birthday cake with chocolate cake and pink frosting. Last year we had a pink dragon cake and this year a castle. Both ideas I got from FamilyFun.com. She then opened her gifts and then everyone went to her playroom to play. I think that everyone had a good time. I so love watching CJ play with her friends. She is just so happy with them.
