This has been a week. On Wednesday CJ almost gave me a heart attack. I had a migraine in the middle of the night and get up took so medication and went back to bed. I woke up to hear Jay getting up for work. He wakes up an hour after I am to get up. So I looked at my clock and it was 6:30. I have to leave the house by 6:45 to get CJ to the Daycare and to work on time. I had over slept and never heard my alarm or I had shut it off subconsciously. But with only 15 minutes to get CJ and I ready for work there was no time. Jay took CJ and I get myself dressed. We gave CJ a breakfast bar and flew out the door. We were out the door at 6:50 5 minutes behind schedule. That was not bad and I could make that time up at the daycare with less kisses and a shorter goodbye. It was cold and Jay started my car to warm it up while I put CJ in the car seat. I close the door went to the other side of the car and tried to open it. CJ had hit the door lock button and it locked all the car doors and CJ was locked in the car with it running. I panicked and did not know what to do. I called for Jay and tried to get CJ to unlock the doors. She did not know how to unlock them. I calmed down a little and was able to walk her though the process of unlocking her door. I was then able to get in her side and climb over her to unlock the other doors. When she was locked in that running car I was so scared. I had just locked my baby in a running car. I was just glad that she was old enough to get the locks undone. Needless to say, I was late for work and walked in at the same time my students did.
Work for some reason was very busy this week and I just could not keep up with the work. This week was the end of the quarter and we had to get grades in. We also had all the 9 weeks testing to do and get them graded and put in the computer before the end of the week. It was just a lot of work. Then because I teach Special education I also have progress reports that have to do out and any student that is failing I had to meet on and change their IEP if they were not making it in the inclusion classes. I had to move them out and into the pull out special education class and any student that was doing very well in the pull out class I had to move them out to the general education inclusion class. It was a lot of meetings and paperwork.
On Friday CJ had Tot Shabbot. We had to run home after school get bathed and dressed, then pick of Roure. Tot Shabbot was a lot of fun. They told the story of Noah's ark with puppets and had a lot of fun music this time. There were more kids at the Tot Shabbot than there has ever been. It was a really good time but we did not get back until late.
Saturday morning I woke up with the worst migraine that I have had in a long time. We almost had to go to the hospital because I just could not stop throwing up. Every time I would try to take my medication to stop throwing up, I would throw it back up. I was finely able to keep it down long enough for it to start to work. CJ was such a good girl for me. She played in her playroom and watched a movie so that I could try and sleep it off. I woke up about 12:30 and I think I did tell CJ that she could have the lollipop and both the containers of yogurt, but I really do not remember. I just remember that she can to me on the couch and asked me if she could have something.
After I was feeling better CJ had a birthday party to go to for a friend from school. She had so much fun. All of her friends from school were there and she played hard. At one point she was bouncing on a bouncy ball and fell off face first. She ate dirt and scratched her hand. She was very happy to get a bandage and a juice box.
At 5:00 that party was over and we were off to the next party. CJ was also invited to a Halloween Costume party. We got her into her Blue Cinderella outfit and we were off. CJ got to decorate a pumpkin and play with her friend Ben. They had some of the neatest Halloween finger foods. Everyone just had more fun playing together and running around. CJ won the costume contest mostly by default because we stayed the latest. But CJ was happy to get a new coloring book, because she so loves to color, paint, and draw. Do not know were she gets that from. We all had a good time at the party. The Rabbi that we had last year from temple was there and it was so nice to see her again and get caught up.
Today we have to clean house and get groceries our cabinets are empty and the house is a wreck because of our busy week and no time to worry about picking up.
