Redneck Trash Christmas tree

Friday night we went to Tot Shabbat. CJ had fun and was one of the best behaved kids. She sat like a young lady and listen to everything the Rabbi had to say. I was so proud of her. Yesterday we got up early and went shopping. I needed to got loves of stuff for work and the holidays. I also had to find a brown jogging suit for CJ. At school they are doing a play and everyone in her class has to have a brown jogging suit because they are going to be camels. A brown jogging suit is not an easy thing to find. After shopping we went to a birthday party for a Friend of CJ's. CJ always has fun playing with her friends.

Today we clean house and got everything ready for everyone that is coming for the holidays. After we got all the beds made, Jay thought that we should get the Christmas Tree out. While he was in the attic we noticed that the roof was leaking. That is so not good. Sometimes being a home owner sucks. Just as we are starting to get a head something else happens. Jay said that it would not be that bad. That the roof looked good other than about 2 spots that needed to be repaired and he could do that.

Last year one of the lady's at work gave us a Christmas tree, so we through away the broom stick tree that we found in the attic when we moved in the house. As we pulled the tree out of the box, we found that only the bottom of the tree was in there. Not a full tree. So Jay went out to the shop and got his Dad's little 3 foot tree. We thought that at least it would be something. As Jay got it out and set it up and just said well we should just take off the bottom of the 3 foot tree and place it in the bottom part of the tree that was given to us. Jay laughed at me but did it anyway. The little tree fit in the big tree bottom like they were meant to go together. We both come not believe it. Our redneck Hannuka/Christmas tree. Jay then went outside and say 3 doves in our yard. We know what it was the holidays.

  1. The main thing about a Hannukah Bush is that it must be free. Sounds like you have a fine tree!!
