This week has been busy at work. We are trying to finish up the school year. I will be done this week and looking forward to spending the summer home with CJ. I am not sure all that we are going to do but I know that we will have fun.

This week was my dad’s birthday. CJ and I took him out for dinner and had a small birthday cake for him. CJ was all about the cake. Though, she really enjoyed drawing and coloring flowers and butterflies on this card. She is becoming really good at drawing.

This weekend we were going to go to Virginia to see Jay’s brother but Jay got sick so we stayed home. Yesterday we went to the park and out for dinner. When Jay told CJ what we were not going to Virginia to see Uncle Ronny she just told him that was ok if he does not go because her and mommy were going. It was hard to tell her that I was not going without daddy and that we would find another day this summer to go. It is worried not going anywhere on Memorial day weekend, but I am glad that we are staying home I just needed a rest after this last week at school.
