CJ had her first day of kindergarten today. Last night she was ready for bed at 5:30 p.m. I could not find her to clean her playroom. After yelling for her she came to the door naked. I asked her what she was doing naked and she told me that she was getting ready for bath so that she could go to bed. I told her it was not time yet and she had to clean her playroom first. By 6:45 she was in bed and ready for tomorrow to come so that she could start school.
In the morning, CJ did not get up in the morning on her own. I had to wake her up and she did not what to get up until I told her that she would sleep but her dad was doing to have to get her dressed and do her hair for the first day of school. She was out of bed and dressed. She did not what to eat breakfast and wanted to ride the bus. Jay talked her into having some cereal for breakfast and I showed her that the bus had already left and she would have had to get up earlier. Beside I really wanted us to take her to school especially on that first day.
I was having panic attacks all day worried that she would not get on the right bus to the daycare in the afternoon and that she would be lost in the big school. But she did not and had a very good day. All the way home she was telling me about some of the thing that she did. She had now started the next 13 years of school. My baby is getting so big. I wish that I could have walked her to class the first day but was so glad that her dad was there for her.
