On Sunday I got a taste of what it will be like next year if I teach CJ’s 1st grade Hebrew school class. It was busy and way different then teaching Middle school. At least I only had to teach for an hour then we went to see the play of Queen Ester and to carnival. This year the theme was Toy Story. CJ dressed as work out Barbie. Carnival is always such a good time.
On Tuesday we had the Girl Scout birthday bash. Everything seemed like such a rush. We got there just a little late and had fast and then they did swaps. I run around trying to keep track of CJ but just gave up and know that she would find me when she was done with all of her trading. By the time we left, it was very late and CJ could not get control of her emotions. When we put her to bed at 9:30 we was crying because she wanted her Uny stuff animal but she was holding it Jay kept trying to tell her that she was holding the animal and that it was ok just close eyes and go to sleep. Poor thing was so tired. She did get up for school and was well behaved. Wednesday after school we just came home and had a peaceful night and early bed time.
Thursday was dance and CJ got her costume for the recital. I was so happy when I saw it because I was seeing the other costumes from her friends before I got to see hers and I did not like theirs at all. CJ’s those were very cute. When I had her try it on her dad just shook his head and said, “My little girls is getting so big.”
Friday CJ and I had the day off so we cleaned house and got ready to go to our mother/ daughter tea party with the Disney Princesses. We had a really good time getting all dressed up and ready to go. While we were at my friend Julies finishing getting ready CJ was walking up the stairs and fell. She hit her face on the step and I run to her she looked ok and quit crying quickly so I thought she was ok. A little while later she eye started to turn black and blue and she had a line on her face from the stair. I really felt bad for her. At the tea CJ found out that she does not like tea but told me that she had a really good time and it was like going to Disneyworld. That made me so happy because all she has been talking about these days is how all of her friends have been to Disney and she had not and how much she would like to go. The tea was pricy but after she said that and told me what a good time she had I was so glad I took her.
Today we are just going to spend the day as a family. I think we are going to go and get the rest of the stuff for the bathroom and go to the movies.
