Thursday CJ graduated from Kindergarten. She song a couple of songs and received an award for faithful attendance and for excellent work in all subjects. I was so proud of her and glad that she got an award for hard work and not just wearing nice clothes. I know that she would not get an award for behavior because her behavior has not been good all year for her teacher. She was so excited about the graduation that she even had trouble sleeping the night before. I was so glad that I was able to attend. I bought the picture slide show that they showed in class and CJ has been playing it on her TV every since I brought it home. She is done with school for the summer. I still have a few more days to go.
CJ already knows who her teacher will be for next year. She got to move to her new classroom with week and spend about 45 minutes with her new teacher and new class. Her two best friends Mia and Cherish will not be in her class but Julie’s neighbor’s daughter Cerena will be. I heard that CJ has a really good teacher next year, I sure hope so.
Today we got up and went for a motorcycle ride to Cracker Barrel. It has been a long time since Jay and I have gone there and even longer time since we went on the bikes. I remember when Jay and I would go every Saturday. We had a really good time.
