Fun Packed Week

What an amazing busy week. This was the best week. Saturday and Sunday we went out to Sue and Craig’s boat for the night. We got to sleep on the boat and play in the ocean. We were totally soiled all weekend. CJ was not so afraid for the water this time and went right in and got her feet wet. As she was playing and having fun a very large wave came and knocked her over. She started to yell and got a mouth full of water which made her start to throw up. She throw up all in one of the towels. She rested a minute but did not what to go back to the boat. Then she went back to playing. She ended up finding a friend to play with. The made a pool and then ran though it as the waves came in and filled the pool up. CJ slept really well in the boat but she took up the hole bed so that I had trouble sleeping. The next morning we did not swim at the beach up we did wake around the walk the rock pier. Sue and Craig had there pet bird and dog with them. CJ had so much fun playing with them. She so loved the bird she would just sit so still trying to get the bird to come climb on her. When it did she was one very happy little girl. CJ and the dog spent a lot of time hanging out on the front of the boat. CJ kept standing on the front like in the movie Titanic and she has never seen that movie. It was so cute.

Monday Darrell had a doctor’s appointment at the VA so we all went with him so that after we could get the tickets to Disney and check out the Girl Scout store (which turned out to be closed when we went). While we were in the hospital with Darrell, CJ was misbehaving. We were not going to tell her that we were going to Disney the next day but we decided to so that we could see if her behavior would improve. She started to get it together which was good.

Tuesday we got up early and went to Disneyland. It was the best time. I was surprised at how overwhelming it was at first and busy. We tried to come up with a plan but it really did not work. We just went with the flow and did what did not have that long of lines. We were not able to see the Disney princesses because the line was just so long. CJ was only able to wait about 15 minutes and the wait was 75 so it just did not work. We packed lots of food and were able to get away with not having to buy food at the park. It was great because we were able to stay there all day. We got there around 9 and stayed until 9. We were so tired when we left and my feet hurt but it was such a good time and a lift time of memories.

Wednesday we stayed home and rested. CJ played some more with Cathy’s grandson Seth that came with us to Disney.

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we went to Yuma to see my mom, old friends, and my nieces that I have not seen in almost 7 years. CJ had a great time playing with Jaylee Cathy’s granddaughter. I told them that this was not the first time that they had played together and showed them a picture from one of the old Blogs were they were playing together as babies. That thought that was just so cool. They went swimming together and played. On Friday night Jaylee stayed the night in the hotel with us. It was CJ’s first sleep over. They were both so good.

Friday CJ and I spent the whole day with my mom, Restory, Anna, and Bailey. CJ and Bailey hit it off right away and played together all day. Bailey is almost 9 but smaller than CJ. You would have thought that they were just old friends and play together all the time as well as they got along and played. It was kind of sad because I know with my sister and I not talking that they will never get to know each other and play like that again. Restory was telling me how it reminded her of her and McKinley’s relationship and how much she missed all the time the 4 of us would get together. I miss those days to. I wish that we were all close again but that will never happen.

Yesterday when we got home we went to Craig’s birthday party for dinner. CJ again went right over to the bird and play with her the whole time we were there. She did not what to eat much so she came out of the kitchen with just fresh cherries on her plate. I had to giggle but I did make her eat more than just a plate full of cherries.
