Monday CJ went to Baton lessons at the main dance school for Upstate dance. She was worried that it would have too many babies in the class but she seemed to be glad that there was one other student that was older than her. She so loves Baton that I was glad to find another class for her.
CJ is having a good year at school. She even got to take the class pet home this weekend from school. The class pet is a stuffed parrot named Alex. She was to take pictures of all the things Alex and she did all weekend. She was so happy to have that little bird.
This weekend we went to Virginia for the holiday weekend. CJ was so excited all week about going. She had her dad put it on the calendar and she counted down until it was time to go. On the way up there we stopped and saw my sister Wendy. We walked around the mall and had a really good time walking and talking. We stayed longer than we planned but that was ok. I bought CJ a new necklace, I got a new shirt, and Jay bought some kitchen stuff and a new hat. We then make the rest of the drive to Virginia. While we were there we went to a car show I told CJ that she got to pick her favorite car and stand by it for a picture with her bird. She did not just pick one. She picked a couple of then but most of them were pink in color. Saturday we spend the day swimming and I spent some time working on my school work. We then went for ice cream and dinner with Jay’s brother. Over all it was a very nice weekend. I am tired today and not ready for work but I was glad that we went away this weekend as a family.
