Dance

CJ got her report card this week. She had all “A’s” and received a certificate for being on the “A” Honor Roll. We were just so proud of her for it. Jay and I never made honor roll when we were in Elementary school. Jay never made honor roll and I only made “A/B” honor roll but that was not until my senior year of high school.

Monday after dance CJ’s Girl Scout troop got together with another local troop of older girls and get to sing songs and learn about ways to help the community and themselves. Then on Saturday Jay and CJ went to the father/daughter dance for the Girl Scouts. The theme this year was Under the Sea. So everyone was to dress in Beach wear. CJ wanted to wear her swimming suit cover up with peaces signs, but was disappointed when she got to the dance that all her friends were wearing really pretty dresses instead of beach wear. Jay was did not seem happy about going to the dance. I think that next year I am not going to sign them up at all.

Today we had Hebrew school and like the kids at work the kids at Hebrew school just wanted to run. We had lots of activities to do and it was really crazy. We made Hallah and little bags with spices. I think that the kids had a lot of fun, even though I became very tired.
