Talent Show

This week CJ and I started spring break.  We have been busy the last couple of weeks just with work and everyday stuff.  We had PASS testing and End of 9 weeks stuff. 

In girl scouts CJ got to paint a picture which was good because CJ saw a show (Arthur on PBS) were kids were painting pictures and selling them for a $1. So she has decided that she needs $12 to buy something from American Girl (I am not share what it is), so she spent several days in her playroom painting away.  She get people to day that they would buy one from her but they wanted custom pictures and I think that throw CJ off and she just gave up on painting or it was the fact that her dad said enough.

Last Monday we went to a friend’s for Seder dinner it was a very nice time and CJ did a great job reading the four questions for the smallest child.  I was very proud of her.  We did not got home until late and my GPS was broken.  I forgot how hard it is to read written direction in the car at night.  We got a little lost but I found our way home.  CJ just slept in the car so she did not know that I was worried at all. 

Tuesday CJ had the talent show.  She dressed in her costume and even let me do her hair really fancy.   I could not believe that it was my child up on that stage.  She was just so good and was not scared at all.  I could not have been more amazed and proud of my child.  I do not know were she gets her talent to perform but she is just a natural. 

I have been crocheting CJ and dress that I saw in the American girl magazine.  It is taking me longer than I hoped but it is turning out better than I thought.  So one of the girls at work is pregnant and I could not get to the store to get her anything, so I tried my hand at making baby booties.  They turned out great.  I did them in Green Bay Packer colors so that she would remember me.  I was so glad that she really liked them and everyone was so impressed that I made them. 

This weekend we have been working on the new camper trying to get it ready for the camping trip this weekend.  I can not believe how good it is turning out.  It does not smell as bad and it is looking great.  We have been putting some hard working into it but I think that it is paying off.  I am really looking forward to going camping this weekend.
