Halloween

Today I had the day off from work. Which was good because we had a busy weekend and it was nice to have an extra day off. On Saturday it was Halloween and we went to CJ’s school for the Fall Festival. CJ had so much fun seeing her friends. She kept trying to take off to see all of her friends. At one point she saw some of her friends had gathers to take a picture. She run crossed the field were her friends were just so that she could be in the picture to. It was nice that she had fun with her friends and I got to meet some of the parents. After going on runs, trunker treat, jumping in bouncy houses, and going on a hay ride we left and went to the Park for more activates. By the time we got home it was late and CJ was very tired.

Sunday just thought that we would spend the day together, so we went to the Jockey Lot and did not find anything that we were really looking for. I am going to try and get my Holiday shopping done earlier this year. So yesterday I started some of it. Hanukkah is early so things have to get done earlier. Jay took CJ for a while and went got to go shopping and took the bike for a ride. It was a very relaxing day.

Today I got it in my head that because we do not have the money to even start on the bath, I still needed to so something about it before everyone comes for Thanksgiving. So I know that we had some paint in the shop and that maybe a little paint would at least make it look a little better. So I spent the morning working on the bathroom. I was right the bathroom does look so much better. I do not like the color but compared to what it was and did not cost me anything I think it looks great.
Yesterday I also started working on doing some big fall cleaning. I scrubbed the refrigerate and the stove. As Jay had the stove pulled off for me to clean behind he thought that he would take a look at trying to fix the stove. We are down to only 1 working burner on the stove. Jay thought that would not be good for cooking a big Thanksgiving dinner. We tried to see about buying a new stove but we just do not have the $500 at this time. Jay looked at the stove and he said that he would be able to fix it. So 2 hours and only $80 later he had all 4 burners working on the stove. It was clean, working, and like I had a new stove. We were both very happy at how it turned out.
Jay and I have decided that we are in trouble when CJ gets older. Last week when Jay was cleaning the house he told CJ not to step on the wet floors and just stay on the rug. CJ needed a book off of her book shelf so she built a bridge to her book case so that she would not step on the wet floors like she was told. She is so creative.
