Open house

Not much has been happening this week. Thursday CJ had her open house at school. She had fun seeing her all her her friends. You would think that she had not seen them for weeks. Even those I had just picked her up from there 2 hours earlier. She was every upset that she was not able to sing for all the parents and started to cry. I told her that this year they were not singing for open house just at the end of the year party. It did not help but after lots of hugs she was OK and went back to playing with her friends.

Friday we sent to Pizza and Pray at the temple. CJ loved the ice cream Sunday treats that they had at the end of services and talking with all the other kids that were there.

I am just trying to start to think about the holidays and get some shopping done and start all my party planning. I found coloring books for Hannukka that will be great for all the kids to do while I tell the story of Hannukka. I really do enjoy having people over and having dinner parties. I miss that from living in Yuma. It seemed that we did that more when we live there. People here are just not that friendly to come over for a free dinner unless you are family. So I am really glad that so many people told me that they would really like to come over for Hannukka dinner.
