This weekend we did not do much. Saturday we stayed home all day and just cleaned house. I did finish the painting of the trim in Dad’s new bedroom. So we are all ready for him to come. We are hoping that he will be her by Friday.
Today we just had a relaxing day. Jay fixed the lawn mower which has been broken all winter and I fought migraines all morning. By afternoon the lawn was mowed and I was feeling better. CJ was having a rough day. Some days she does well with no nap but today was not one of those days. At one point I sent her to her room for a time out of throwing a fit because her dad would not share his entire treat with her. After a minute I went to her room to take to her about her behavior. She was sitting on her bed nicely so I sat down on the corner of her bed to talk and fell right off the end of the bed. I did not really get hurt and just started laughing. CJ just did not know what to do so she got off of her bed and tried to help me sit up. It was really hard to lecture her when you just fell off the bed and she was nice enough to come help you up. So we just sat on the floor were I already was and talked for a minute before just heading back down stairs.
Tonight while we were out walking the yard CJ found a stick and told us that she was using a walking stick and that she needed a walking stick to help her walk. After a while it was time to go inside and her dad told her to leave the walking stick outside. She told her that she could not walk with out the stick. He told her that she had to leave it outside. Then she walked in house and fell on the floor. She started to pull herself with her arms and drag her leg. She said to us see she could not walk without her walking stick. I just laughed and told her to stand up. She said she could not, so I told her that I should race her up the stairs and bet her. She got up and run up the stair.
