This weekend on Friday we had Tot Shabbat. The kids were very wild I think that they feel spring in the air. CJ was trying to run around but I would not let her. It is so hard to try to get your kid not to do something when all of the other kids are. But as I told her it is their parent’s job to stop them and my job to teach here good manners in Temple. When we got home I tried to put her to bed in her bed but she was telling me that she had a tummy ach and could not sleep and wanted to sleep in my bed with me. After about an half an hour of fight about it I told her fine she could sleep with me. It was amazing how fast her tummy ach was cued.
Saturday we got up clean house, did part of the laundry, and when to a birthday party for one of CJ’s friends from school. At the party she got to play with her friends. One of her friends Crayton that she has a love hate relationship with was there. On most days I have to here all about how Crayton did this or that to CJ. But at the party she only came up to me once and told her that Crayton was climb on something she did not think he should be. During that time that they eat Crayton and CJ sat next to each other I thought that we were going to have more tattling, but at one point CJ told Crayton that she was out of pizza square so he went to his mom and asked her if he could get some more pizza square. Crayton’s mom got up got him the square, the Crayton went back to the table and handed them to CJ and told her that he got her more pizza like she wanted. See love hate. CJ sometimes has those boys wrapped around her finger. After the party we went to Anderson to meet Jay because he was getting off work early. We then went to Lowe’s and got our new tub for the upstairs bathroom. We are getting close to starting that. YAY!!!
Sunday was ShalomFest. It is the cultural festival that our Synagogue puts on. We had a really good time. CJ got to jump in the bouncy house for almost an hour. She had crafts, danced, and got to eat really good Jewish food. We had so much fun. It was a very long weekend and we were very tired. Sunday Jay thought that CJ could stay up a little later and he keep her up playing until 8:00 that was such a mistake. Monday morning she just would not get out of bed and was so over tired that she just fused all the way to school. I just told Jay that she was still not old enough to stay up past 7:00. Some child can stay up later but just not CJ. So tonight she is happily in bed at 7:00.
