Yesterday CJ had her first dance recital. All week she was showing me her dance and becoming more and more excite. I think I was too. We got there and she had fun running around with her friends before the recital started. During the recital she did really well. She told me that she was worried because she just could not do a cartwheel and her friend Anna did them really well. I told her that she would do fine and as long as she tried her best. She tried a cartwheel during her dance and I thought it was the cutest cartwheel and I think that everyone else did to because she got the must giggles and attention for her cartwheel. I told her that hers was the best because it was the one that everyone noticed and made the must people happy. At the end of the recital all of the kids out trophies and Jay and I got CJ flowers. After the recital she was not sure about the flowers until we got in the car to leave and she saw that they really were pink and smelled pretty. Then she had to hold him on her lap all the way home.
After the recital we went out of pizza. CJ wore her recital dress the whole time. CiCi Pizza had changed there menu and taken off CJ’s favorite food. So the manager said that he had to do something special for her because they did not have want she wanted. So he made CJ a special macaroni and cheese dish just for her. We were so grateful and CJ was so happy.
Every since we went to the Middle school dance that I had to chaperone and one of the girls there gave CJ a silly band CJ has been begging me to get her some. So this week I gave in. At my middle school this Fad of silly bands are really popular. Everyone has them. They are just half bracelets, half rubber bands that are in different shapes of things. The kids wear them as bracelets and at middle school trade them. CJ got some that were in the shapes of unicorns, dragons, and fairies. She is having fun wearing them and showing them off.
