Earlier this week CJ and I were getting ready for school. I was putting on my make-up and was about to walk out of the bathroom when I remembered that I had forgotten to put makeup on my eyebrows. CJ turned to me as I was putting on my eyebrows and said, “Mommy why are your eyebrows not the same color as your hair. Look mine are brown like my hair and yours are white but your hair is brown. That is just not normal.” I just did not know what to say to that.Yesterday was Mother’s Day. I had a really great day. Jay let me sleep in and took CJ downstairs in the morning and got her breakfast. I just crawled back in bed and went to sleep until 8:30. It was so nice. I then got up, came downstairs, where CJ and Jay had a present waiting for me. They had gotten me a new pair of pajamas, a candy bar and a great card. Jay drew a picture on the outside and CJ drew one on the inside for me. I just loved it. Jay worked on my car and bike, than we all went for a long motorcycle ride to get ice cream in Georgia. CJ and I shared a banana split after she finished off mine she went to her dad and just started eating his ice cream. The next thing you know she took it way from him. I just laughed. During the ride we stopped at Lake Hartwell and CJ and Jay picked Honeysuckle. It was the first time that she has ever tried a honeysuckle. We had a really good time. I do not think that I could have asked for a quieter nicer day.
Tonight, Jay made a Thanksgiving Dinner in May. We had Payton, Jean, Tillman, and Paul over. It was fun having to kids come and play. Jean was telling Jay that every Monday on his day off he should cook and they should come over to test it. Jay said it was a nice thought but he did not think so. He said that he cooked all day and it was a lot of work. But is was all ready good food.
