Garret went home yesterday and CJ had her last day of swim lessons. After swim lessons Jay called and told me that his uncles were coming for the weekend. I decided not to just come home and clean the house but just change the sheets and pick up. I ended up washing the curtains in Garret’s room and scrubbed the floor in his room. I ended up getting most of the paint off the floor. It was a lot of work but I was very happy with it.
CJ raced me up the stairs and looked at me as she was at the top of the stairs and said, “That is crap.” I asked her were she got that and we had a long talk about thinks that we just do not say.
Last Saturday Jay bought a freezer for $5 but it needed some work. He got it working and put one of CJ’s cups in the freezer with water to see if it worked ok. When he got the cup out and got the ice to come out of the cup she looked at the block of ice and said, “It is a real IceBird.”
