Yesterday Uncle Dave came in the morning. We all went to the Jockey lot and walk around. We ended up getting 3 new chickens while we were there. CJ named then Star, Sprinkle, and cupcake. After we got back Uncle Tom showed up and we spend the rest of the afternoon talking and getting caught up with how everyone was. In the evening Uncle Dave had to leave, but the rest of us went to dinner and then to the car show and fireworks display down town. It was not to hot and CJ for the first time really liked the fireworks. Uncle Tom spoiled CJ while we were there. He bought her cotton candy and a light up necklace that had a dolphin on it. As CJ was lying on my lap to watch the firework display she told me that the lights were really bugs in the sky that loved us so that there making pretties.
It's nice to know that at least one of us has a daughter who won't run inside and hide under the bed during a fireworks display.
