This weekend we went up to Virginia. Ron had some tires for Garrett’s new trunk and he wanted Jay to pick up the truck and take it home. We drove up on Friday and like always when we go to Virginia it rained on and off the whole trip. CJ so wanted to go swimming but when it started to rain and was lighting she did not what to swim any more for the rest of the weekend. It was just nice to get away for a little while.
We made our annual stop at the Bass Pro Shop. Garrett complained that I always have to take a picture of him and CJ by the fish tank. Of course I do, this way I see each year how much they grow.
Today I had to work. I had training for this Read 180 program that I am going to teacher. CJ stayed home with my dad for the first time all day. She was a good girl for him but when I called at lunch time he was in the bathroom and CJ and Garrett were fighting. Dad said when I got home that he stepped away for 2 minutes and they just did everything they could to annoy each other. When I called I asked CJ if she was annoying Bubba, with out a hesitation she told me of course she was. You would think that with such as age difference you would not have as much sibling fighting, but no it seems like this summer it has been every bad every time they are in the same room as each other they have to do something to pick on the other. CJ always comes away screaming.
