Dance Camp

We had a very fun and busy week. Last Saturday CJ had a birthday party for a friend in the afternoon and then we went to Stone Mountain for Garrett’s birthday. We got there just as the light show started and had to walk a long way. After we got there it was already dark and Garrett was there with his family already. We gave him his birthday gift which was a old truck that Jay and I got him for his birthday. It is a F150 1984 Ford. He does not like Fords so we had fun picking on him about owning a Ford. He was ok with owning a Ford because it was an Old truck and that is what he wanted more than anything. Garrett is with us this week and all week he has been out with dad working on the truck. I think dad like teaching and Garrett just likes working on is very own truck.

On Monday CJ started her summer dance camp. They did Baton, Cheerleading, and dance. CJ loved it and said that she wanted to start Baton. One of the coaches came up to me and told me that she thought that CJ was showing a lot of talent for being so young and the owner of the dance studio told me that she would like to have CJ on the competition team and that I really should think about it. CJ just had a lot of fun and keeps asking for a baton for her birthday.

While CJ was in dance camp this week I was able to get some shopping done and I went and got all of my hair cut off. I have not had it this short since I was little. I think that I really like it those. CJ still does not know what to think of my hair.
