This week was so busy. Tuesday CJ had Girl Scouts. Jay and I put together a website for her troop so that we could have pictures and video of the girls. They girls will be learning songs to sing at a nursing home. So Jay and I put together the song books and Jay played songs for them to sing by. CJ during the meeting got to make different ornaments and sing songs: two of CJ’s favorite things crafts and singing.
On Thursday CJ had dance and Friday we went to Temple. Saturday we got up early and started to clean house and get ready for our Hanukkah dinner party. I had worried about it all week and was hoping that everyone would have a good time. By noon over half the people that were suppose to come ended up having to cancel. So I call a friend of mine and was not going to come because she had surprise family that came in. I told her that there was so much food and please come so she came with her sister and her 2 children. One of the kids were 4 and the other was 11 and they were very well behaved and we all had a good time. But at 8:00 when everyone was getting ready to go CJ had a total melt down. We ran out of time and everyone had to go and CJ was so over tired that all she could do was cry that we were not able to play driedel. She wanted to play driedel. Jay and I just got her ready for bed and told her that we would play driedel the next day.
Sunday we got up early and I had the worst migraine that I have had in a while. I had to take 4 Imitrex and it did not even touch the pain. CJ had Hebrew school and I did not what her to miss it. So I sucked up the pain and get dressed. I took her to Hebrew school and went back out to the truck and went to sleep until I could feel human again. CJ had a really good time they had a Hanukkah Fair were the kids moved from classes to classes and they had different activities at each center. All the way home CJ talked about all the different activities. After leaving Hebrew school we drove to Anderson to pick up my dad at the bus station. CJ was so glad to see them and had to then tell him all about her activities during Hebrew school.
Hanukkah has been good for everyone this year. Jay this year got me a new Sony book reader and a new purse (which I really did need a new purse). CJ had gotten all kinds of new toys, crafts, and games.
