ShalomFest 11

Spring break does not seem almost a week ago. We had a very relaxing break even though we did not do much. We stayed around town because gas prices are so high we really can not afford to go places. I pick refused to up any work over break and this week am paying the price. It is ok it will all get done. Sunday we went to the 3rd annual ShalomFest at temple. I worked in the gift shop this time and I think that I missed a lot by doing that. I was not able to talk to a lot of people that I had not seen in a while and really wanted to talk to. CJ on the other hand had a really good time. She jumped in the bouncy houses the whole time. I had some of the teens in the temple watched her while I was working. They let her jump the whole time which was great. Except at one point I guess that she lost sight of her babysitter and got lost. One of the ladies at temple came up to me and told me that they were very impressed with CJ because she came up to her and told her that she had lost her babysitter and needed help to find them. She could not remember her name but know that she was wearing the same shirt as she was and her mom was. Seconds later they found the babysitter and everything was ok. I was told that CJ was very good and did not panic when she had lost sight of her babysitter just found someone of authority and got help. I was proud of her as well. At one point while I was working CJ ran to me with her babysitter and asked if she could get a black and white cookie. I told her not right now and we will talk about it after I get done working. She then ran off. As we went to go leave I got her the black and white cookie. She got in the truck and said this is great this is my second black and white cookie today. I said to her “What did you say?” So she told me how her babysitter bought her a black and white cookie to. I feel so bad that happened and I have to pay her back. The rest of the week flew by. Wednesday we went and had CJ’s dance pictures done. CJ told me at school her and her friends had started a club called the X out girls. I have no idea why they picked that name and CJ just said that it is a club for the pretty girls. They also exchanged phone numbers so that they could get together for a sleep over. On the paper that they wrote their numbers on they had to decorate it all fancy.
