First week on break, I signed CJ up for the summer reading at the library and we went to story time. Tuesday we went to what I thought was the free movie at the theater but it was a dollar. I felt bad that I had told everyone that it was free, but we saw Yogey bear and then went to Julies so that the girls could have a tea party. CJ does not like tea so she just had milk. I think that it was more of a tea party for Julie and I because we made fancy dips that the kids and our husband would never like but that we loved. It is so nice finding someone that likes some of the same foods I do. The kids played so hard and so did we that I almost forgot about my doctor’s appointment and had to run out the door to make it on time.
Wednesday I had to work. I had to do the IB training because I will be staying at McCants. The in-service just was very confusing to me and most of the day they were saying not to worry because it does not apply to special education. I also felt so alone without my friends from the special education department.
Friday we went over to Julies to go swimming and then home to get things ready of the Thrift sale. Saturday I walk up very early and sent up for the sale. We did not do that well but get rid of some of our old stuff. We packed up and took a long nap before getting up and taking Jay to dinner for Father’s Day.
On Sunday Jay had to work so we were not about to do much for father’s day. But he always reminds me why I picked him to be the father for my child. I was cleaning house and went in CJ’s playroom and found him sitting at her table watching TV with her. He is such a great dad, CJ is one lucky girl.
