crazy

It has been crazy last couple of weeks. The end of the school year is always crazy but this year has taken the cake. Work got so bad and they tried to move me to a position that I really did not what, so I quit. I then interviewed for a job at the school that I wanted to go to last year and today I found out I got the position. I will be working with a lot of people that I already know and like so it will be great.


CJ went to another skating birthday party. She is getting so much better with skating. During girl scouts we had a dance instructor come in and teach the girls a couple of dances. They all had a great time. It was fun watching CJ because she so loves to dance and she did a really good job. They did some old southern dances that you see a lot in old movies. I just loved seeing them.
Saturday Wendy got married so CJ and I went up to Charlotte for the whole weekend. The night before we left CJ had lost another tooth. She got $2 from the tooth fairy and as I was brushing her hair she was telling me all about the tooth fairy and how she takes teeth to build her castle. Then she said, “And mom did you know that they tooth fairy is nocturnal, because she only comes out at night.” I was so amazed that she knew that. Then the next day she came home with her award for being on straight “A” honor roll again. I am just so proud of my daughter. On her report card she had two 100% (In math and science) and two 96% (In English and Social Studies).
In Charlotte we got to see my whole family. It had been a long time since I had seen Wendy’s children. They were all grown up. Amanda, RJ, and their families stayed at the same hotel as us. So we were able to spend a lot of time together. On Friday night CJ had trouble sleeping and was tossing and turning most of the night. She took up the whole bed. When I told her at one point to move over she was hogging the bed she just rolled over and told me that was her job to take up the whole bed and then went back to sleep.

Saturday morning we all get up had breakfast and I took them all to the mall so that RJ could experience the Bass Pro Shop. He loved it like most men do. He even said that he had died and gone to heaven. It was just so much fun. My friend Jen come and joined us with her new little one and we let all the kids play in the play area. CJ had fun playing with Mason and Payton. Amanda’s son Robert loved CJ but she was not to happy with him. He wanted to do everything and have everything that she had. So there were a lot of fights between them. He would also chase her around and even at one point she ran into a fence when he was chasing her and she got a big browse on her chest. Robert also took to me and would listen to be and want to be near me all the time. I have never had a young child do that with me before. It was kind of fun to be the favorite Aunty.
