End of the School year

CJ had her Recital.  She is just such a natural on stage and loves being on stage.  I am always so proud of the way that she can perform and is not nervous on stage.  On Friday CJ had her awards day; I thought that I was not going to be able to make it.  Mrs. Fuller my instructional Aid watched my class for me so that I could surprise CJ and watch her get her awards.  CJ’s face lit up when she saw me in the audience.  I was again so proud of her.  She got an award for all “A’s” all year, outstanding performance in music, and Accelerated Reading award. Yesterday I got a letting in the mail saying that CJ got into the Gifted and Talented Program at her school.  I was jumping up and down for joy.  I am so glad that she does not have my learning disability.

On Saturday, we spent the day as a family.  We took the bikes out and went to lunch, shopping and to the movies to see” Star Trak”.  Star Trak had a lot of battle sense and CJ was a little scared at first because it was so loud in the theater.  As the movie went on she seem to get into it more.  At the end of the movie she was asking me if Captain Kurk was going too died.  I told her “No” that he was the good guy and that the good guys do not died in movies.  She asked if I had seen the movie before.  I told her “no” but when he did not die she believed me.

This week was the last week of school and CJ only went to school on Monday.  The rest of the week she got to stay home.   Wednesday night, she spent the night at a friend’s and had a great time playing and getting spoiled by the little girl’s mom.  Last night Jay took CJ and I out to dinner at this place called grits and Grocery’s.  We had heard so much about it and how great it was.  The service was spectacular and the time as a family was the best, but the food was not good and it was way out in the middle of nowhere.

Today we sign the papers to refinance the house and tomorrow CJ and I get ready for our trip.  I think that we are so excited to be going back to Arizona and California.
