Girl Scout Camp

            CJ and I have been thinking mostly about her birthday.  I have been working on the crocheted lace doilies for the party and finely finished them all.  We have shopped for all the food and I think that we are ready for Sunday. 

            Last Friday, CJ and I went to the Mommy and Me Girl Scout camp.  It was very hot but we had a good time. We did not go with anyone in our troop and it was just us.  I was nervous about not being able to find my way to the camp so like always we got there early.  The night we got there we sang songs and ate s’mores.  The next morning we went on a hike and then on the creek hike.  The creek hike was my favorite because the water fall was so beautiful.  I did not get any pictures because I was afraid that my camera was going to get wet.  After going on the first hike the creek hike was great because it was cool and we were so hot.  After lunch it started to storm so we were not able to go fishing or canoeing.  We were able to go do art and got so wet walking back to the cabin to go home.  I was so glad that right after lunch I packed the truck before it started raining.  This is the second time that CJ and I have gone to camp and both times have been fun.              

This week was safety week for both the two story times so CJ got to play on the fire trucks.
