School is going well for CJ.
She has only got into trouble once for chancing a boy around the room. She went to her first Launch (Gifted and Talented)
class. She came home and said that the
class was incredible. She said that they
did math and did not even know that they were doing math. I am so glad that she
loves it.
Over Labor Day weekend, we went out to the Lake Hartwell Dam. CJ had a lot of fun fishing. She did not catch anything because she was
casting and reeling in so fast, but she was having a blast casting. We then had a very nice picnic by the lake
and went to Dairy Queen for desert.
On Thursday CJ and I took the day off for Rosh
Hanashah .
CJ got to go on the Bimah and say part of a prayer. She did a great job. She had practiced all
week and was ready but when she got up on the Bimah I think she was a little nervous
because she had some trouble with the Hebrew part of her pray. I was one very proud momma watching her up
there. We had a very nice time at the luncheon
and the services.
Friday I was so tired and really did not to drive back to Greenville
for Temple . So we decided to stay home, but Jay
came down stair with the idea that we should go check out the Palmetto
High school football game that was
just up the street. I thought because it
was close we would give it a try. This
was CJ’s first ball game. We all had a
good time. I was surprised at how much
it was to get in, $6.00 a person seemed like a lot for a high school football
game. CJ asked lots of questions about
the game and it was fun talking to her about football.
Saturday, CJ got the flu and was running a slight
fever. She just laid in bed all day and
I tried my best to make her feel better.
Today she was feeling better so we went to Hebrew and then
to a birthday party. The birthday party
was for a CJ’s friends little brother.
This little boy (Michelle ) loves CJ. He was turning 2. His mom was telling me that when they were at
the beach the other week that he kept asking were CJ was. I thought that was so cute.
