Halloween Parties

In the last week we have been dealing with everyone having the flu and trying to get better for the Halloween festivals and our upcoming camping trip to the beach. CJ and Jay both got sick and was running fevers. I took CJ to the doctor and they could not find anything really wrong just a virus. After a couple of days she was ok. Jay it took a little longer for him to get better.


Last weekend CJ had her last acting class and then we went to her school for there fall festival. That Friday I get a text message from CJ’s daycare saying that her school had a small fire and that they were sending all the students home. It was scary to get that call and not really know if your child is ok. CJ was just fine but it was still nerve racking.

CJ played games at her fall festival and then I took her to her friend’s house for a Halloween party. Jay and I want to dinner while CJ was at the party. She had a good time playing games with her friends. On Saturday we stood in line for an hour to get into the park for Boo in the park. What we do for a little candy and to play with friends.

On Tuesday we had girl scouts and CJ made a pillow case dress. She so wanted to wear it the next day to school. She has really liked wearing her homemade dresses. The pink crocheted dress that I made she wants to wear that one all the time. It makes me feel good that she likes that dresses that have been hand made.
