Wednesday, Montse had to
get some work done, so I took the girls to the children’s museum. They played and played. CJ got into trouble because she tried to hold
the door of the truck closed on Ellie.
This is something that CJ has done before to other children. She tries to close and hold the door closed
on them. So I told her that if I see or
hear of her locking someone in again I was going to lock her in somewhere so
that she learned some empathy and how not so nice that is. I hope that she never tries to lock
someone in somewhere again.
On Thursday, we all went to Biltmore.
What can you say about Biltmore it is just one of the most beautiful
places. CJ wanted me to take lots of pictures of
her smelling flowers. CJ so loves it. I hope that Ellie and Montse loved it as
much as we did. Montse upgraded my pass
to a season pass so CJ and I will be able to go up there anytime. I am so looking forward to going back.
Friday we stay home, because Montse was
going to have to leave on Saturday. Jay said that Montse could not leave South
Carolina without having BBQ, so he found a recipe for BBQ Tofu. I could not believe that he made and ate
tofu. I was so impressed and it was very
good.
On
Saturday I was so sad to see Montse and Ellie go home. I miss them so much. Jay decided that to cheer us up he would take
us to the civil war museum in Greenville.
Jay had found a civil war button when he was medal detecting so he
brought the button with him to be analyzed. I got to do a little family history
research.
The
next week CJ had her spring fling at school.
It was hard to get her to leave she was having so much fun with her
friends. She wanted me to make a basket
for the silent auction that each class had.
CJ was excited to see our stuff in the auction. She wanted me to bid on it, so I did but we
did not win the basket.
On
Friday, we all went out to dinner. CJ
and Jay were playing “I Spy” while they were waiting for us to be seated. CJ told Jay “I spy something white and
black.” Jay tried to make many guesses
then he gave up and asked CJ was it was.
She told him it was his beard and hair.
I laughed and Jay said he would have never guessed that and that was
wrong. I guess we are going older.
