End of January beginning of February

Again I have gotten so behind with CJ’s blog.  2 months have passed since my last post.  At the end of January my older sister Wendy moved to Yuma.  She was in Charlotte for a day so we all drove up to meet her, spent the day at the mall, and say goodbye.  On our way up to Charlotte we stopped at Chick-Fil-A for breakfast. It was packed in the store because Elsa and Anna from Frozen were there.  CJ was so happy and loved seeing them (Jay was not as Happy about it). While we were at the mall CJ got to try the bungee jump.  She was scared to go to high or try any tricks, like doing a somersault, but she had fun.  

 Wendy and I have been talking everyday on the phone and really getting along.  It is almost sad that we are getting along so well and then she moves.  We told each other that we were going to try to keep up all the talking and getting along.  I think that CJ really like being able to say “Hi” on the phone and talk to her Aunt as well.

I started going to a Zumba class with my friend Brittney, CJ and Brittney’s daughter Claire.  CJ had so much fun and loves it when we go.  Me on the other hand, I just do not seem to have the coordination for Zumba.  I have never been much of a hip hop line dancer, so Zumba moves are touch to learn and they go so fast.  But I will try because CJ loves it so much and it is fun to go with friends.

At the start of February Jay started working around the house some and got CJ to help. Jay wrote on Facebook “Todays digs,,,,,, put the metal detector down and focused on some chores today. Cleaned the gutters and broke up some natural dams to get the creek flowing a little better,,,, hopefully it won't be a standing mosquito nesting ground this spring. Didn't find coins, rings or other treasures,,, so sad”  CJ just enjoyed being out with her dad and helping.

After cleaning they grilled some ribs and a strawberry cake.  The next day Jay smoked some turkey breast to make a dish called Kentucky Hot Brown.  CJ as Jay called her  "Little Ms. Finicky" did not  wanted to try it.  She turned her nose up at first, but Jay made her try it after the second bite she changed her tone and demolished it.
