Purim came and this year the theme was Safari. Saturday CJ and I spend the day shopping looking for something Safari to wear. It was last minute but as busy as we had been it was the only time that I had. We looked all over for something that would work. CJ really wanted to wear pajamas that were is the shape of an animal. We finally went to Sears and found an elephant suit that was pajamas. CJ loved it and I loved the cost and the fact that she could wear it after as pajamas. The morning of the Carnival the weather was bad. We even had some snow. There were some people that did not show up because of the weather, so Rabbi came and asked if I could help with the Purim play. I said that I would and got stuck having to wear an elephant costume. CJ said that she was so embarrassed that I was in the play. I thought that she would think it was neat but she did not. She said that I embarrassed her. I thought that it was cute that we both got to dress as elephants, but it took a lot to get her to take a picture with me. After the Carnival we had a lot of time before CJ had to go to Choir practice. CJ was told that if she helped with the clean up from the carnival that she could jump in the bounce house until Choir practice at 3. So from 12:30 until Choir at 3 she jumped and had a good time.
During CJ's American Girl Club meeting they were featuring Rebecca. We brought Hamantonshen and CJ created a center where she would teach the girls to write their name in Hebrew. CJ enjoyed helping teach but I think that she did not what to do as much because she really wanted to do some of the activities more.
When day we were in the car after stopping at the grocery store. CJ pointed this out that on the milk container it stated that Milk contained "Milk". Jay said, "Who knew that milk contains,,, well,,, milk. I reckon that ranks right up there with "water is wet".
The month ended with Hebrew School having their annual mock Seder for the students. This year after doing it so long we were able to get the set up done really quick. No one else signed up to help with clean up so I had to do it all. It was not bad and I was able to get it done quick.
