CJ's Party

Yesterday we had CJ’s 5th birthday party with her friends. It was at the Art Center of Anderson. We had the best turn out then any of her previous parties. She had 10 kids at the party and I think that they all had a good time. I had never been to a party at the Art Center before so I was not sure what to expect. I think that the girl that was to run the party had never done one before either because she was not sure what she was doing. I wished that I would have had some activity for them to do while we were waiting for all of the kids to show up because they get a little crazy wait. After we went to the art room and all the kids started to work with the clay they were all so happy. Both the boys and the girls had a good time. All the parents told me that they thought the party was great. CJ got a lot of gifts that are crafts. She has been having fun today coloring and painting.

CJ’s party was from 10-12:00 so we had all afternoon to let her work on activities and play with her new stuff. I had her work on thank you letters as well because I know we were going to another party that night and I wanted to have them done so I could hand them out to those that came to CJ’s party. At 4:30 we left for the other party that CJ had for a friend of hers. It was a pool party and CJ just jumped right in the pool and did not what to get out. She had a lot of fun playing in the water. Only 3 other of her friends came to the pool party but CJ still had a good time.
