Cookies

This week CJ came home from school and asked her dad how she could earn $21. He almost dropped over and wanted to know what a 5 year old needed with $21. So she told him that she needed it for some books that she found at the book fair that she wanted. I think that today I am going to take her to the book fair.

Tuesday, I picked up CJ’s Girl Scout cookies. I spend most of the evening sorting out 144 boxes of cookies. I think that I am going to be glad when Girl Scout cookie season is over. Saturday we went to Fred’s for our first Girl Scout Booth sales. It was very cold but CJ was such a trooper. She stayed outside it the cold the whole time. As she got cold she just told me that she would dance to get warm. So she danced and sang and sold cookie. I was very proud of her.

Thursday, we had the Girl Scout thinking day fair. We had done a poster for Mexico and my mom got her a dress from Mexico for her to wear. It was a very hot and tiring evening but I think that all the girls had a good time looking at everyone posters. CJ had a good time handing out stuff to people that walked by.

Saturday evening my friend Jean came into town so we went for a nice dinner with them. Payton was tired and did not want to play much with CJ. It was almost sad to see because they have been such good friends for such a long time. After dinner Jay, CJ, and I went to Lowe’s to look at fertilizer for the garden, while we were there we found a cabinet for CJ’s bathroom. The cabinet was only $30 so we had to get it.

Yesterday CJ had Hebrew school and after we came home and I was finely able to get my house clean. It was a very busy weekend.
