Jay's birthday week

Saturday CJ had a birthday party for one of her friends at school. This was the first birthday party for a friend from school that she had been invited to. This party was different then the parties from CJ’s friends at Whitefield. CJ had fun but I did not have a lot of people to talk to. Before we all know each other and birthday parties was the parent time to talk and get caught up. Maybe as I get to know some of the parents more I will not be standing around so much.

Monday we had so much Fun surprising Jay at his work. I set it up so that we could bring Cake and dinner to him at work. Jay did not know what we were going to surprise him. It was so much making him smile so much.

The rest of the week we just tried to get better from these colds we all are fighting. Yesterday we had the day off from school. So we got together with friends at the park because the weather is starting to get better again. So we had our first picnic at the park for the year. When we had to leave my friend Julie had to go shopping so I offered to take her daughter so that she could shop with only one of her kids instead of two. CJ and January played for the rest of the afternoon. They play so well together that I was able to get dinner started, clean out the refrigerator, wash all of my ceiling fans, and get some of my windows washed. It is good to have a day off.

Today I am going to get CJ’s hair cut and just spend more time with the family.
