Another two weeks of being so busy I can on think. I finished the on line class and started
another one. It was nice being home and
not in classes during the week of the 4th of July because Jay
had an extra day off to. So we got some
extra time together.
Monday July 2nd I took CJ to the library to get
her summer reading award. She had
already read 30 books and got her certificate and medal. On Wednesday it was the 4th and Jay
had the day off. In the afternoon Jay put us all
in the car and we went to Georgia
to get ice cream. Before we got there we
stopped and get fireworks. CJ was so excited about having sparklers. We then went to Wal-Mart to get so groceries and
Jay bought me a Smart phone, it has been fun
trying to learn about that thing. On
Friday we drove to Georgia
this time all the way to Macon
so that we could take Garrett out for a birthday
dinner. CJ is always so glad to see Garrett and
it is funny to hear them fight in the back of the truck still even though Garrett
is 19 now.
We went and had CJ’s 7 year old pictures done. It was the most miserable experience. First their was not anyone there when we came
of our appointment and when they got someone she did not know what she was
doing and took a bunch of blurry pictures.
We ended up having to go back and have them done a 2nd time. That lady was not very nice and just wanted
to get us in and out. I really need to
find a new place to get CJ’s pictures done.
Friday we also took Bear to the vet he told us that he is
healthy but very old and that he is bones are just starting to give out and
that is what is making it hard for him to walk.
He give him some meds to keep him comfortable and told us to take him
home because there was not much that he could do for such an old dog. It was sad but I was glad that he was
ok.
Monday CJ started Dance Camp. She loved it. After camp every evening she
would show us her moves and dance around the house. On Wednesday they put on a show for
parents. I was almost sad to see dance
camp end because she was having such a good time. This week she had art camp so I am hoping
that she will have just as much fun.
