Before the month of September ended I thought that I better
get this blog updated. I just have not wanted
to write for fun. With all the papers
that I have had to write for class and this summer writing is just not
fun.
I took my PAXIS test for Educational leadership last weekend
and I do not think that I did very well because I did not even finish the
test. I have to wait 4 weeks before I
find out want how I did. I hate waiting. After I took the test last Saturday we drove
to Atlanta Georgia
to meet Jay ’s sister Starla. She was in Georgia
for a conference and was good enough to meet us at the Mall that has the American
girl doll store. Jay
was a very good sport when we were in the store I think that was because Starla
was there and they talked and joked about all the girly stuff. CJ had fun.
Before we went she asked if she could buy one of Rebecca ’s
dresses. I told her that they were too
much money and if she wanted one she had to save and get it herself. She asked me how much they were and I told
her that they were between $22 to $32.
The next thing I know she was in her room counting and I heard 20, 21,
22, 23. It turned out she was hording
money had had $30 saved. So when we were
at the store she got a dress for Rebecca and I
let her the extra $2 she needed. Her dad
also bought her 2 new Rebecca books.
We all went to dinner at The Cheese Cake Factory. It was the first time we had ever been
there. It was very pricey, but the food
was really good.
We have not been doing much.
We started girl scouts and CJ loves it.
We also have been going to Ware Shoals for picnics a couple of times. CJ likes going there to get into the water
and also food the ducks.
CJ is doing well in the 2nd grade her teach is hard which is good for CJ. She still likes her Rebecca doll and carries her everywhere.
