Starting 2nd grade

            Not much has been happening in the last couple of weeks.  CJ and I started school and work.  CJ started has Mrs. Pack for her 2^nd grade teacher.  She seems to really like her new teacher and her new teacher seems very touch which is good for CJ.  We have made it 2 weeks with out getting into trouble at school. I am hoping that we have a good year.

            Last week CJ started Hebrew school.  All the kids from her class but two are back.  We had a morning breakfast to kick off the year.  CJ had a chocolate pancake.  I am not teaching this year and it is nice.  I need the time to work on my school work.  I had my class on Thursday for my internship and I am truly going to need that 3 hour to work.

            We do not start Girl Scout for a couple more weeks but I have been working getting ready for it.  CJ did start dance as well and loving it more this year I think than any other.  She comes home and still dances around the house.  She has been dancing up a storm.  Her high kicks around the house have just about knocked over every thing that she could. 

            This weekend we are just working on getting caught up with things.  With gas prices so high we just were not able to go anywhere.  Last week when I told CJ that we had a three day week she looked at me and said, “Are you thinking what I am thinking?”  I asked her what she was thinking.  She said, “We should go to Charlotte to see Aunt Wendy and go shopping.”  It was sad to have to tell her that Aunt Wendy does not live in Charlotte anymore and we could not go.  CJ loves her Aunt Wendy and shopping.

            As you can see by the pictures CJ still will not put her American Girl doll down.  Rebecca still goes everywhere with us, but I do make her leave her at home for school. I am so glad that she loves her doll so much.
