To the Beach

The last two weeks have flown by.  Halloween came and went.  CJ wanted to walk the neighborhood, so we walked the neighborhood and Jay fallowed us in the truck so as I got tired or it was a very long ways between house we could ride.  At one point I told CJ that we should get in the truck because there was no house with lights on.  We walked up a hill and I kept trying to get CJ in the truck.  She them told me, but Mom you way you are fat and walking is good to loss weight. She was right, out of the mouth of babes.

CJ and I had fall break from school starting on Friday, so Jay took some days off as well and we all went camping at the beach.  We had such a great time.  It was a little cool in the morning and evening but days were great.  CJ and I went to the Educational center were she got to pet a sting ray.  We had a great time looking at all the different marine life and marsh life.  We did a lot of walking and hiking.   The first night we were their we took a walk on the beach.  CJ found a star fish that she named Star.  When we got home I tried to bleach her to make sure that she did not smell and I think the beach was to strong because she melted.  I felt so bad and CJ cried.  Next time I will know that you can not bleach a star fish.  We then went to the home of Archer and Anna Huntington, called Atiliya. For ruins it was beautiful and really neat history.  We then went to the beach for a while.  Jay tried to do some surf fishing.  The next morning we went into Myrtle Beach.  There was hardly anyone there and a lot of places were closed for the season.  We went to a place called The Pier.  We walked the Pier took pictures next to a fake shark, but the best part is when we got to the end of the pier we all got to see dolphins out in the water swimming.  There were about three dolphins that were playing.  It was the neatest thing I have seen.  After we got back to camp, we went back to the beach to play.  CJ danced on the beach and Jay tried his hand at fishing again.  He this time caught two black drum.  That night we had a big storm come up and had to spend most of the evening in the camper.  It was not bad but the next morning it was very cold and we were all ready to start the long trip home.  When we got home I think that I spend the whole rest of the week trying to get caught up on laundry.

This weekend I worked on trying to get some work done to finish up my papers for school and CJ had a birthday party and Hebrew school.  I think that know that I see the light at the end of the tunnel with school I am starting to relax some.
