Last Week of the Year

This week it has been so nice being off work.  CJ and I have not done much.  Christmas was quiet and peaceful.  CJ loved all of her toys and I think for the first time I did really good with Jay’s gifts.  He loved them all.  CJ got a lot of Monster High stuff, but her favorite was her American girl doll pet Pepper.  She has been caring Pepper everywhere.  She has gotten to spend a lot of time talking with Ellie on Skype and I have at least accomplished one project.  I redid CJ’s second closet and it turned out great.  Today to end the year, Montse and Ellie gave CJ the great gift of movie tickets to see the movie “Frozen”.  CJ was so excited about it that she got up early, made her bed, and get dressed before she even came down stairs.  The movie was not until 11:25 and by 8:00 CJ was ready to go.  We went into town and went shopping at Michaels to look for craft things.  CJ got a cross-stitch dolphin so that she can try a new craft.  When we got home she was able to talk to Ellie so to thank her for the movie and I had a nice talk with Montse.  It was a good end to a good year.
