The weeks before break

In the last 3 weeks we have been just coasting by.  Things have been busy at school and work, but we have not been doing much.  I spent too much money on Hanukkah and Christmas, so I have been crocheting a lot to make some extra money and make Christmas gifts for the ladies at work.  All my free time has been crocheting.  I only have one more order to full but that does not need to be done before Christmas.  It was kind of fun getting all the orders and seeing how happy people are with seeing their new hats and headbands.

CJ went to cookies with Santa at her school and had fun making crafts and playing with her friends.  CJ and I went to get a mani/ pedi.  Jay for Hanukkah got us a gift certificate.  So we took some time to go get pampered.  CJ so loves having her toes and nails done.

CJ’s grades have been slipping some in school.  Her teach told me it was mostly because she was rushing through her work.  We decided that we were going to work really hard to get her grades back up.  CJ told me that she really does not care and a “C” is still a grade.  I was not happy with her.  Sometimes she can say things that really push my buttons.  So her dad told her she was right but if she did not get that “C” up to at least a “B” then she was going to lose her TV in her playroom and no TV on weekends because TV was just TV.

At daycare CJ get some Duck Dynasty posters and a beard.  Jay had to take a picture of  CJ in her beard.  They are just to silly.

Yesterday, I had a migraine that was so bad that all day I was in bed.  During the short time that I was up Jay ran to the store.  CJ told Jay that she was watch and take care of me while he was gone.  She was so cute with all of her cuddles and it did make me feel better.  I felt so bad because I was so sick I could not take her to her American Girl Doll Club meeting.  I told her that we would not miss it next month; she was ok with that because her dad told her that I had to take her out for ice cream when I felt better.
