Atlanta and Snow

Two weeks ago we went to Georgia because Jay had another BBQ class.  This time to get national certified.  We stayed in downtown Atlanta.  It was really fun.  The hotel that we stayed in was super nice and I think that it was bigger than my first apartment.  CJ was so funny she got to sleep on a pull out sofa bed.  With out even being asked, she made the bed and was having so much fun just playing in the room.  The room had a big jetted tub so I have CJ and bath with bubbles.  She loved it.  In the morning while Jay was in the class CJ and I went to the American Girl Doll store and to the Bistro for lunch. At the Bistro the hamburger that CJ got was burnt.  I was not happy at those prices I should not get a burnt anything.  So they brought CJ an ice cream to make up for it. Besides that, it was fun just having a girl day.  I spent too much money, but CJ will only be young once.  CJ had fun looking at everything and she bought Rebecca’s Coat for her Rebecca doll.  We then went to the Anne Frank Museum.  It was a small museum but very nice.  We watched a movie on Anne Frank and looked at a ton of pictures.  I learned many interesting things.  CJ wanted me to get her the Dairy of Anne Frank book, but I thought that it was too old for her to read.  I bought it anyway and put it on the shelf of her to read when she gets a little older. She was very happy. We get back from all our activities just in time to pick Jay up and go home.  The next day we had Hebrew school and Girl Scout bowling.  CJ was not a bad bowler.  She won the second game that they played.  The first game CJ came in second because one of the moms was playing.  I was proud of my little bowler.

Last week it snowed one day and we had the day off from school CJ and I played around the house and did not do much.  CJ loved the snow and played really hard and for a long time outside.  Her and her dad got into a hug snowball fight.  They had lots of fun until Jay brushed the snow off the truck and it all hit CJ in the face.  She was not happy with him then.

Last night was CJ’s book fair at school and treats with the teachers.  I again spent too much money of books for her.  CJ’s music teacher asked why CJ was not in the talent show this year.  I told her that with CJ’s grades dropping that we just needed to focus on school for a while.  CJ was not happy that I told on her.  Then another friend came up to me and asked why CJ was not in the talent show.  CJ told me not to tell her.  I told anyway.  CJ’s grades are coming back up to all “A” again, so it is a good time that she is only doing Hebrew school and girl scouts.

Today we have another Snow day so CJ and I made cookies and CJ has been outside most of the day playing.  She came in the house and asked me for buttons because she was building am Olaf Snowman like from the movie Frozen.  She then later came back in and asked me to come out and take a picture of her Olaf.  She is just too cute.  I can not believe that she is out there again in all that cold.
