Thanksgiving

As Thanksgiving approached we decided not to have a big family dinner because only two weeks after Thanksgiving we were going to have a big Hanukkah dinner.  Sometimes just have a Thanksgiving with just the 3 of us is so nice.  I made a homemade apple pie that was not great but it was not bad.  We had CJ try my sweet potato casserole; she said that it was not bad.  This was the first time since she was a baby that she ate sweet potatoes without pretending to be sick by them.

Thanksgiving night the Greenbay packers played. CJ  wanted to stay up to watch the Packer Game. She only made it 5 minutes into the game. She told me before the game started the 8:30 was very late for a football game, but she really wanted to see the game.

While the three of us had off from school and work we spent a little time cleaning up the house and putting up the Christmas tree.  When we cleaned out the garage we had a whole truck load of trash that Jay had to haul off.
